Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Leader of the Opposition Kemi Badenoch face criminal investigation

16/11/2025

The Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Leader of the Opposition Kemi Badenoch, face a potential criminal investigation, after allegations of misconduct in public office were reported to the London Met Police by the Safer Schools Campaign (See letter from the Met below). The allegations stem from an ongoing deliberate failure to act since 2018, in relation to failings in the government safeguarding systems, that have led to the harm, suicides and deaths of a number of children, including those of more than 150 UK families connected to our campaign, all related to bullying, physical and sexual violence in UK schools.

The failure of Keir Starmer and Kemi Badenoch to act on concerns in relation to the issues, especially involving the use of weapons and knives, has been alleged to have led to a number of tragedies that have taken place, both in and out of school settings, including the Southport murders.

The failures of Keir Starmer and Kemi Badenoch, are alleged to have not only allowed many of these tragic events to happen, but also enabled a cover up of the failings that led to them. The most serious of the allegations, is that the Prime Minister, enabled by Kemi Badenoch and Parliament, deliberately allowed the set up of a public inquiry, that ensured that evidence which proved that their own failures had resulted in the Southport atrocities, would not be looked at.

Information and evidence provided to the Police in October, is currently being assessed by the Met’s Central Specialist Crime Unit, after the allegations were initially sent to a number of the Senior Leadership at the Met, including the Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley. Significantly, documentary evidence has been made available in relation to the likelihood of further atrocities, including child murders and planned school massacres. The evidence demonstrates that these events could easily be avoided with appropriate intervention and action but that both Keir Starmer and Kemi Badenoch, are deliberately allowing the risks and the evidence to be ignored.

Misconduct in Public Office

Misconduct in Public Office is a serious offence and there is a very high threshold that would need to be crossed in order to result in either being charged. Evidence of failure, incompetence and even serious neglect alone are not enough to result in any finding that the offence has been committed. In 2021, we made a similar complaint against the then Education Secretary Gavin Williamson, where ultimately, Judges determined that although his alleged failures were of a relatively serious nature, they did not evidence enough to result in the possibility of a successful prosecution.

We are under no illusion regarding the barriers we face in relation to the complaint this time around. In reality, almost every one of the 650 MPs in Parliament have played their part in the alleged cover up and going forwards, could arguably be found guilty of the exact same offence. All have had access to the information and evidence of children being failed. All have been asked on numerous occasions, at the very least, to speak out in order to save lives. Almost all have chosen to remain silent, while children and families continue to suffer. This is for obvious reasons a matter that MPs would prefer not to be exposed.

What is clear from the evidence though, is that school is not presently a safe place for many children to be and unless the issues are addressed and MPs held to account, then further tragedy and harm is inevitable. Ultimately, whether the complaint results in criminal sanctions or not, outside of the Police and more likely through the ballot box, there needs to be public accountability for the failures and there needs to be change. Unforgivably, the Mainstream Media seem increasingly intent on ensuring the protection of Westminster comes before the protection of millions of children, as the ongoing and deliberate failure to cover our story shows. That being said, they will know that a continued betrayal of the public on this level will have consequences and that therefore they can’t ignore the story forever. In the end, despite the deliberate efforts of all those who are desperate for us not to be heard, we will continue to fight until all children are better protected and justice for those that have already been harmed and tragically lost is achieved.
