EMERGENCY – Urgent action required – British Citizen needs your help.
Dear
I am writing to urgently bring to your attention the situation of an individual named Jason Barnett, who is currently facing forced return to the United Kingdom under highly distressing and concerning circumstances.
Earlier today, Jason reports that he was taken into custody by multiple police officers, restrained, and transported against his will to an aircraft for deportation. During two separate attempts to remove him, the flight captain refused to proceed after Jason clearly expressed that he was being returned involuntarily and raised serious safeguarding concerns. Notably, during the second attempt, Jason alleges that excessive force was used, including a chokehold that left him unable to breathe, prompting intervention by the captain.
Jason is currently back in detention and fears further attempts will be made imminently, potentially involving escalated force.
The urgency of this situation is compounded by the nature of Jason’s claims. He states that he has spent over a decade gathering evidence relating to systemic failures in protecting children from bullying, physical violence, and sexual abuse within schools and care settings. He asserts that these failures have led to preventable harm, including suicides and deaths.
Jason indicates that he has already contacted all 650 Members of Parliament with a public statement outlining his evidence and requesting engagement, but has not received a response. He believes that his forced return without proper review of this evidence risks silencing critical safeguarding concerns that could protect vulnerable children. The statement can be read here https://publicinquirynow.co.uk/public-statement-asylum- application
He is requesting the following:
– A commitment from the UK Government to initiate an independent investigation into the alleged systemic failings.
– Assurance from the Prime Minister that he will not face reprisals upon return for raising these concerns.
– Urgent parliamentary review of the evidence, particularly through the Education Select Committee.
Given your role and influence within government, I respectfully ask that you:
– Urgently review Jason’s case and the circumstances surrounding his attempted forced return.
– Ensure that any use of force in this matter is fully scrutinised.
– Advocate for immediate safeguarding consideration of the evidence he claims to hold. – Encourage appropriate parliamentary or cross-departmental engagement to assess the seriousness of these allegations.
This situation raises significant concerns not only about individual welfare and due process, but also about potential risks to children if the issues raised are not independently examined.
I would be grateful if you could confirm receipt of this email and advise on any steps you are able to take to ensure this matter is handled with the urgency and seriousness it warrants.
Yours sincerely,
